Welcome to the Roy and Kathy Provost Foundation. Established in 2014, we are a family-oriented foundation built on over 25 years of experience working with a non-profit organization that, unfortunately, dissolved due to logistical and locational challenges. Our mission is to continue their vital work, supporting thousands in need and honoring their legacy. We are dedicated to serving our community and making a positive impact in the lives of those we help.
Our Story
The Roy and Kathy Provost Foundation was born out of a deep-rooted commitment to community service and the spirit of that defined Roy Provost’s life. Roy dedicated himself to charities like the Knights of Columbus, the Women’s Help Center, and St Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, generously donating both his time and resources. With the unwavering support of his wife, Kathy, he inspired their seven children to embrace the same values, fostering a family culture of helping friends and neighbors in need.
After Roy’s passing, the family was compelled to honor his legacy and continue his mission of service. Thus, the foundation was established, ensuring that Roy's commitment to uplifting the community would thrive through their collective efforts and passion for giving back.

Kathy Provost | Founder
Kathy Provost is an extraordinary woman whose dedication inspires all who know her. As the beloved wife of Roy Provost she has played a pivotal role in establishing the Roy and Kathy Provost Foundation. Kathy's unwavering commitment to helping others serves as the foundation's guiding light, influencing its goals and initiatives. Today, her legacy thrives through her seven children, each actively involved in carrying forward her and her late husband's passion for making a positive impact in the community.
David Provost | President
David the fifth child, is the president of the foundation, leading our initiatives with passion and purpose. He oversees projects and guides the team, ensuring alignment with our values, and inspiring meaningful moments in the lives of those we serve.​​
Fred Girgis | Vice President
Fred is a longtime family friend of the Provost family and serves as the Vice President. He guides the organization's strategic vision and fosters strong community relationships. His dedication and ability to inspire others make him an invaluable asset. Fred's passion shines in all his efforts.
Donald Provost | Director
Donald is the fourth child of Roy and Kathy, a passionate advocate for community service. As a director of the charity foundation, he manages programs, lead fundraising efforts, and inspire others to make a difference. ​​​​
Donna Hipsher | Treasurer
Donna, the sixth child in her family, manages finances, ensuring transparency and accountability in all transactions. Her responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, and overseeing fundraising efforts, making her essential to the foundation's mission for positive community change.
Darlene Gaden | Secretary
Darlene, the youngest of Roy and Kathy's children, brings a fresh perspective to the foundation. In her role as secretary, she organizes the team by managing schedules, recording meeting minutes, and facilitating clear communication. Her commitment ensures the foundation runs smoothly as it works toward its mission.​​​
